Research and Data Analyst

Position Description
The Research and Data Analyst supports the Research Director by collaborating on research and data projects, leading collection and analysis of quantitative data that describe the lived experiences of impacted communities, contributing positively to advocacy materials that support NC Child’s legislative and administrative policy agendas, and showing a willingness to embrace new and complex topics. This role has the potential for promotion to Sr. Research Analyst.

Research Assistant

Research Assistant (50% FTE)

Primary Job Duties:
 Provide support to assigned research activities
 Data aggregation from different databases and tracking spreadsheets
 Regular quality control checks on data collected
 Descriptive analysis of data
 Planning research team meetings
 Preparation of research materials
 Regular meetings and updates with the PI and NC CTP team to report progress and troubleshoot potential issues
 Submit results for conference presentations and scholarly publications
