  • We are hiring 2 Community School Coordinators - 1 at Enka Middle and 1 at Erwin Middle School
  • The Community Engagement Manager (CEM) serves as the primary point of contact within their region for HSOs, supporting the HSO network to ensure each HSO can provide high quality services to HOP participants and meet the various requirements of the Pilot program. This position supports HSOs with receiving technical assistance, building awareness, and acting as a liaison and resource person for all Pilot program stakeholders working within the catchment area. CEMs are "utility players" who use their deep knowledge of community-based organizations and resources to accomplish a wide range of tasks. While all CEMs will participate in all the following functions, some may specialize more in certain areas. The region this CEM role will serve, and be actively present in, ideally would be the region they live in. We are currently seeking someone that lives in our eastern most boundaries. Our eastern-most counties include Burke, Avery, Mitchell, Yancey, McDowell, Rutherford, and Polk. If you're not situated within this geographical region, we expect prior familiarity and involvement within the community, along with an understanding that the tasks will be conducted within this specific area.

  • The Climate Smart Agriculture Technical Assistance Provider will support farmers in the planning and incorporation of climate smart practices for the purpose of obtaining A Greener World’s Certified Regenerative label. The position will involve conducting site visits across the country to enrolled farmers, supporting the writing of a regenerative plan, and working with farmers to track greenhouse gas emission reductions. The majority of participating farmers are BIPOC or historically underserved.
  • The Golden LEAF Foundation seeks a motivated, detail-oriented, quick learner to join the team at Golden LEAF responsible for implementing the grant monitoring process, managing grants that have been awarded, and participating in other program-related activities. This is an internal-focused role with responsibility for managing grants and for working on special projects across a range of priority areas and in collaboration with the Senior Vice President/General Counsel and Vice President/Chief of Staff. This is a full-time position based in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
