Become a Pro Bono Volunteer

Nonprofits have questions, you've got answers

Join our pro bono volunteer network to help organizations receive the vital assistance they need in a meaningful way. We offer pro bono programs for you to share your free expert advice in the following areas:

The Center and the N.C. Association of Certified Public Accountants recognize that many organizations often have specific accounting questions, but lack access to accountants with expertise in nonprofit accounting. Through this partnership, CPAs share their time and talents for up to one hour of free accounting assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations.

The Center and the International Coach Federation recognize that coaching is the quickest way to get unstuck, recognizing strengths, and take forward-moving action. Through this partnership, coaches share their time and talents for up to five hours of free coaching assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations and their staff.

Human Resources
Human resources is a necessary part of every field of work. Nonprofits cannot afford to go without access to the information they need to get the job done. Our partnership with Raleigh-Wake Human Resources Management Association provides a two-fold benefit. Nonprofits receive assistance while professionals have the opportunity to volunteer in a satisfying, manageable way of one hour of free assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations.

The North Carolina Bar Association and the N.C. Center for Nonprofits have teamed up to provide pro bono legal assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. Professionals provide council in the form of one-hour sessions while nonprofits get the help they often cannot afford. It's a win-win situation for making a positive difference in our communities.

Nonprofits often have staff wearing multiple hats. With resources tight, some do not have access to the resources they need to develop their brand and message. The American Marketing Association (AMA) Triangle and your N.C. Center for Nonprofits are here to help. Through this partnership, marketing professionals provide up to one hour of free assistance to 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations. Nonprofits receive assistance while marketing professionals have an outlet through which they can volunteer their time and talents.
