The Center launched an Association Health Plan (AHP)/Multiple Employer Welfare Arrangement (MEWA) in partnership with Marsh McLennan Agency, Vimly Benefit Solutions, and Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC as a way to provide medical, dental, vision, and other coverages to employers with two or more employees. The Center chose Mutual of America because of their extensive experience with retirement plans for nonprofits, their focus on employee education, and salaried (i.e., not commission-based) account representatives who are committed to providing excellent customer service.
The Multiple Employer Retirement plan (MEP) and the Administrative Fee Waiver Benefit with Mutual of America Financial Group have several key advantages including:
