Status: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am- 5:30pm, Tuesday- 8:30am-8:30pm (program night), Friday-8:30am-2:30pm. Occasional late night on Thursdays depending on program needs. 1 work from home day per week. Flexibility with schedule is available with Direct supervisor approval.

Position Purpose/Summary: The Employment Academy Program Manager (EAPM) creates safe spaces and appropriate programs for participants to gain employment skills. The EAPM is responsible for coordinating community classes and extra services under the guidance of the Employment Academy Director.
Essential Functions: Program Coordination:
• Teaching and Facilitation of Employment Academy classes including, but not limited to, ENER-G, Boot Camps, Community Classes, and other engagements.
• Assisting with the development and implementation of programmatic Pre and Post Surveys
• Responsible for assisting Employment Academy Talent in enrolling into Life Skills 48
• Monthly Communication with assigned community partners.
• Develop positive relationships with community members that can assist participants in obtaining employment skills and gainful employment.
Case Management:
• Conduct initial assessments for talent records. Including but not limited to updating Individual Development Plan (IDP) Scores and Communication, Reliability, ENER-G, S, Trainability (CREST) assessments
• Plan, organize and conduct one-on-one appointments with caseload members.
• Perform referrals to partner resource agencies as needed
• Weekly attendance record update o Follow up with absent participants

• Serve as StepUp employment liaison for collaborative community partnerships.

Outreach:
• Brainstorm potential partnerships and methods for engagement with the local community.
• Work alongside SUM Outreach team to plan and execute outreach events
Administration:
• Create and maintain records and notes in Salesforce to document EA talent attendance, demographic information, employment status, Employer connections, Volunteer information, etc.
• Work with EAD, HR, and Finance Director to manage the EA budget and maintain accurate records of EA spending.
• Track, record, and submit monthly, quarterly, and annually to the EAD information for the Board regarding program participation, successes, challenges, and upcoming events using the Consent Agenda format.
• Submit weekly written communication via weekly program staff meetings and weekly communication document. o
Completion of the Monthly Consent Agenda by the 26th of each month. o Weekly Communication Document Updated by Thursday of each week.

• The ability to appropriately handle stress and interact with others is an essential function (EF) of this position.

Education/Training/Licenses/Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
• Due to the diverse nature of our participants and stakeholders, we strongly prefer that applicants be professionally fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish and English.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience preferred, including inside sales and/or recruiting
• Experience with Microsoft products and Salesforce preferred
• Valid NC driver's license
Physical and Mental Demands:
• The position requires o Lifting and carrying up to 10 pounds at a time.
o Good use of the hands and fingers for repetitive hand-finger actions o Continuous talking and hearing (6+ hours per day) o Frequent sitting (3 to 6 hours per day) o Occasional standing, walking, driving, climbing, balancing, crouching, lifting, carrying, pulling, pushing, and reaching. o Attendance of outside events in various weather conditions o Attendance of multiple events per day, when necessary
