Launched in 2022, Jane’s Fund is a Charlotte based Non-Profit, that pours love and light into the community by providing encouragement and financial support to families experiencing personal hardship. By providing resources to individuals and other nonprofits with a similar mission, Jane’s Fund seeks to improve the educational, medical and physical well-being for children, giving the opportunity of new life, hope, and a thriving future. To achieve its mission, Jane’s Fund partners with 4 Hospital Systems and 15 Title 1 CMS schools to provide financial support for identified needs.
General Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Philanthropy, this full time position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of programming execution including overseeing the day to day operations of all ongoing projects from start to completion. This position communicates regularly with hospital social workers, key school faculty, specific program collaborators and vendors, and other community partners to initiate and maintain ongoing projects for the families and educational programs we support.
Work Duties
- Works directly with school and hospital partners to manage and execute all project requests.
- Meets with key faculty at each of our partnering schools to develop a working relationship and line of communication for identifying and executing educational and enrichment needs.
- Responds to all referrals and requests for support coming in from hospital social workers and school faculty.
- Works with the Jane’s Fund team to decide on funding the requests.
- Coordinates details for projects being funded including: recording project descriptions and details, paying bills, coordinating execution of project.
- Researching and collecting data of ABC’s from schools and other identified program outcomes.
- Collecting and reporting data needed for grants applications and reporting.
- Reporting on project updates at weekly team meetings.
- Attending community partner meetings and other related events as needed.
- Works with the Director of Philanthropy to coordinate volunteers working on community related projects.
- Helps maintain the volunteer database for tracking hours.
- Reports project specific in-kind donations to the Development staff.
- Helps with annual event planning as it relates to programming and project visibility for events.
- Attends events with our community partners as needed as a representative of Jane’s Fund.
Communication
- Identify and communicate challenges and successes related to development processes and implementation, regularly report this information to the ED and Director of Philanthropy.
- Work with the Jane’s Fund staff on the creation of newsletters, PR communications, and publications to support community awareness, fundraising, and marketing activities.
Internal Administration
- Work with staff to plan, develop, and communicate outputs and outcome metrics.
- Provide requested data and narrative for grants and impact reporting.
- Adhere to Jane’s Fund administrative and recordkeeping policies to support accurate bookkeeping, documentation, and reporting of activities.
Professional and Organizational Development
- Participate in any professional development opportunities to further continue education and professional goals.
- Active self-reflection, goal setting, and collaboration with directors.
- Attend weekly Staff meetings and Board and Committee meetings when requested.

- Display a positive attitude, sense of humor, and show an authentic concern for people.
- Committed to a positive and fun team culture.
- Bachelor's degree required-prioritizing Education, Healthcare, Social Work, or other mission related fields.
- Team Player who is comfortable pivoting on role priorities to support the overall mission of Janes Fund.
- 3-5 years of professional experience with demonstrated success in program execution and coordination.
- Some weeknights and weekend hours required.
