The Struggle Bus Project was created to provide people with an outlet for expressing their struggles, acknowledging their hopes and reflecting on not only who they are but who they aspire to be. Our focus is to be a sounding board to empathize, encourage and to evolve with each other simply through open expression of our thoughts and feelings.

The mission of the Altapass Foundation, Inc is to Preserve the history, heritage and culture of the Southern region of the Blue Ridge Mountains; Protect the Orchard land with its apples, wetlands, butterflies and other natural features; and Participate with the public in a unique regional experience.
Our mission is to strengthen our local community by using the performing arts to uplift and unite our neighbors and inspire new ways of looking at the world. As a teaching theater, we educate young and potential theater professionals and provide a gathering space for our community as a whole. We aim to inspire, educate, and entertain in all that we do.
To provide an empowering community space for a wide variety of music and art as we engage music education via exposure to a wide variety of genres, as well as music education workshops. To provide a gathering space for groups who seek to bring the community together. To offer direct financial aid to support and empower other area nonprofits that nourish the Swannanoa Valley.

MoB Theatre sees theatre through a contemporary lens, using collaborative theatre-making to explore social justice, cultural engagement, and issues that matter to our community. As a grassroots ensemble, we focus on non-fiction narratives, with documentary theatre being one of our most refined and repeated processes. Constantly serving as an incubator for new works, we harness true stories, oral histories, and lived experiences to create meaningful theatre.
Building on 45 years of artist-led innovation, VAE is shaping the future of Raleigh’s arts community by investing in the creative ecosystem. As an artist-led nonprofit, we support professionals from all skill levels through development, exhibitions, and neighborhood-based events. By providing paid opportunities, fostering collaboration, and centering creatives in the community, we are building the next generation of leaders.
