Located in scenic Brasstown, North Carolina, the Folk School offers year-round weeklong and weekend classes for adults in craft, art, music, dance, cooking, gardening, nature studies, photography and writing.

  • ArtGivers makes the healing power of original art available to more people in more places. We purchase art from emerging artists and offer it for free to mission-driven organizations like free and charitable medical clinics, shelters, and drug rehab centers, to own and hang in their facilities. This supports both the people who view and engage with the art, and the artists who create it.

  • The NC STEM MUSEUMS NETWORK is the only statewide partnership of museums dedicated to inspiring and educating today’s youth and adults in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics for North Carolina’s competitive future.

  • The Alamance Battlegrounds Friends, Inc is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation formed under the North Carolina Nonprofit Corporation Act. The mission of the Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. is to support, enhance, and promote education, interpretation, and preservation at the Alamance Battleground Historic Site. Alamance Battleground Friends, Inc. carries out this mission by:
    • providing support and guidance to the site coordinators
    • securing financial donations and grants to support site programs, and

  • Since 1987, the Iranian Cultural Society of North Carolina has served its membership and the greater community in organizing cultural events, gatherings, and classes to help grow and celebrate Persian culture in the state of North Carolina, USA.

  • To promote and enhance creative and performing arts in the greater Southport area

  • The Friends of Oberlin Village Preserves, Honors and Educates the public about Oberlin, the largest Reconstruction-era black settlement in Wake County.

  • The Charlotte Folk Society is dedicated to promoting the ongoing enjoyment and preservation of traditional and contemporary folk music, dance, crafts, and lore in the Carolinas Piedmont since 1982.

  • The purpose of the Lewisville Historical Society shall be to discover, collect and promote the preservation of Lewisville history and preserve its historic landmarks. This Society will cooperate with other citizens, societies and agencies to preserve and protect Lewisville’s rich heritage.
  • The High Point Historical Society collects, preserves and showcases the history of greater High Point to foster a shared appreciation of our community reflected in the stories, events and traditions of our past.
