  • To identify the unmet health care needs in Craven, Jones, Pamlico, Carteret and Onslow counties and help find resources to meet those needs.

  • To serve the needs of the Local Health Departments and the NC Department of Public Health.

  • The SECU Family House on the Richard J. Reynolds, III & Marie M. Reynolds Campus provides affordable lodging and support services in a caring environment for referred adult patients and/or their caregivers who travel to Winston-Salem, N.C., for medical treatment.

  • To promote healthier living for Durham seniors by helping them obtain and better manage needed medications and by providing health education, Medicare insurance counseling, community referral, and advocacy.

  • Wings of Eagles Ranch is a "Center for Hope" giving families with special needs children and adults, along with our youth at risk community, the opportunity to "Soar on Wings like Eagles." We are providing fun activities for participants to gain strength, balance and most importantly self esteem and self confidence through Equine Assisted Therapy while adapting those activities to allow success for every participant.

  • To improve the health of the uninsured by providing affordable medical care and prescription drugs.

  • To serve as a catalyst for demonstration programs to increase access to affordable, quality health care for all North Carolina residents and control health care costs.

  • To improve ways to serve your primary health care needs, quickly and in affordable way.

  • To assist the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas South Central Community in furthering their charitable, religions and educational mission and to provide grants to tax-exempt health care, educational and social service organizations, which meet the Foundation's criteria and effectively assist women, children, those who are elderly and those who are poor to improve the quality of their lives.
