F - Mental Health & Crisis Intervention
The With Love and Light Foundation (WLLF) supports holistic nonprofits by empowering their leaders with tools for sustainability and growth. This grant seeks to fund WLLF’s workforce development program, which provides training to nonprofit founders and leaders on the business fundamentals of starting and running impactful, community-focused organizations.
We are Connectors, Educators, and Advocates for the treatment and recovery community at large throughout N.C. We seek to eliminate stigma. We embrace all pathways to recovery and healing with dignity and respect for everyone.
To provide services or the mentally ill; and to further provide advocacy and public education regarding mental health issues.
The mission of the Center for Community Connection (C4CC) is to promote well-being, mental health equity, and occupational justice in North Carolina. We provide holistic mental health services and advocacy that enhances participation in meaningful activities, cultivates human connection and social engagement, and promotes inclusive environments.
Darkness RISING Project Nonprofit aims to:
-Improve the health and wellness of Black and other marginalized communities
-Raise awareness about mental health in our community
-Empower and engage our community via resources, events and services
-Erase the negative stigma of mental health issuesLookupp's mission is to improve youth mental health by encouraging meaningful, screen-free interactions. Through a community-powered reward system, the app incentivizes face-to-face social engagements, fostering a culture of in-person connections and enhancing overall well-being.
Mental health is still seeking the recognition it deserves in our society; 5 out of the 10 leading causes of disability are due to mental health issues. Mental illness impacts all types of people across all demographics — impacting an estimated 40 million people in the US alone.
And behind every diagnosis, there’s a person in need of understanding and support.
Without sufficient help to ensure their needs are being met, people can start to feel left out or left behind.
Insight Human Services strives to offer the highest quality care to reduce the negative impacts of substance abuse and mental illness in the communities we serve.
We provide treatment, resources, and education for opiate addiction and substance use disorders. (Not operating in any capacity in NC yet) This is in currently in process.
