As state legislators work to develop a state budget for FY2021-22, the Center will provide analysis of the ways that budget proposals would impact the work of nonprofits. To help your nonprofit digest the more than 1,400 pages of budget documents, the Center has developed a synopsis of nonprofit provisions and appropriations in the budget. The Center also has prepared a comparison of the differences in appropriations and provisions affecting nonprofits in thefinal version of the budget approved in November and the versions of the budget passed by the NC Senate and the NC House of Representatives this summer.
