Based on a statewide survey of nonprofit executive directors/CEOs, Countdown to the Inevitable: North Carolina Nonprofit CEOs in Transition provides data, insights, and calls to action on executive transition and planning for North Carolina nonprofits.
This report was part of the multi-year, statewide initiative on Executive Succession and Deepening the Bench to help nonprofits and their leaders navigate executive transitions successfully. This work also informed the Center's initiative, Walking the Talk: Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion in North Carolina Nonprofits.
