  • The Wrightsville Beach Museum seeks to tell the story of Wrightsville Beach through the years and across a wide range of experiences. The museum is housed in a historic cottage filled with exhibits featuring the working people of the beach and the community that they built. The museum also hosts the Wrightsville Beach Waterman's Hall of Fame.

  • Elf school of the Art's mission is to create an environment where all artists, musicians, and writers feel safe and welcome. To empower artists by providing time, space, resources, and relationships so that they may experiment, create, and collaborate.

  • Mettlesome produces creative and smart projects that amplify artists' voices in the South. Mettlesome's mission is to empower our community using the principles of improv comedy.

  • Ursus Music is committed to producing, performing, and recording the music of minority composers, including women, Black or other non-Caucasian, Latinx, and LGBTQ+ artists by using the exceptional talents of world class musicians of minorities, when possible.

  • We are dedicated to community improvement through acts of volunteerism.

  • The Chapel of Rest Preservation Society was created in 1984 to preserve the historical integrity of the Chapel and to maintain the building and grounds. Open to the public daily during daylight hours, the Chapel of Rest is a place to pause, meditate, and enjoy an extended view of the beautiful Happy Valley.
