  • Alamance County Community Services Agency, Inc. is committed to moving people from poverty to economic self-sufficiency and improving the quality of life of people in need through the provisions of informational, educational, technical and support services.

  • Riverwood Therapeutic Riding Center provides certified equine-assisted services and farm-based learning opportunities for individuals with diverse capabilities.

  • The Foster Pantry’s mission is to ease the transitions of children in foster care by cultivating community support and equipping families and children with essential needs and resources.

  • To provide free, confidential services to survivors of domestic and sexual violence.

  • To promote healthy, stable, and hunger free communities where everyone thrives.

  • The Women's Resource Center in Hickory, NC empowers women through workforce development, advocacy, enrichment programs and community partnerships.

  • Raleigh Village East exists to provide some services such as rides to doctors, the grocery store, etc. and elder visits and checkins, that will allow seniors in the Oakwood/Mordecai area of Raleigh to live in their homes longer. It is based on the Beacon Hill Village in Boston. We are in the process of established the parameters of our work and our audience.

    We are in the process of applying for 501(c)(3) status but need to do more research before applying.
