Kim Chambers has over 25 years’ accounting and finance experience in a variety of industries including Big 6, custom home building, professional sports teams, and nonprofits. She brought her expertise in streamlining finance procedures to the nonprofit Triangle Residential Options for Substance Abusers, Inc. (TROSA) in 2011, and has served as its Chief Financial Officer since 2014. She is a CPA and holds a BS from the University of Maryland University College.
With a passion for helping nonprofits thrive, she has served the American Cancer Society in a number of volunteer leadership roles for regional chapters and was recognized with its Relay for Life Award. She has volunteered as a soccer coach for the Chatham Soccer League. She currently serves on the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants Not-for-Profit Committee. She is a graduate of Leadership North Carolina Class XXIV and received the Nonprofit CFO of the Year Award from the Triangle Business Journal in 2014.
