EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO & BOARD LIAISON

Cary, North Carolina  |
Wake County

The Opportunity

In June of 1968, a small group of community members, brought together by Margaret Keller, met to address a common concern: how to best serve neighbors in need. Over time, the organization’s services have expanded to include financial and emergency food assistance, career coaching, workforce development and so much more. We are also proud to be the home of one of North Carolina’s top-rated thrift stores.

In January of 2025, Dorcas Ministries completed a merger with Western Wake Crisis Ministry, another storied social impact organization, founded in 1983 by a small group of community members, brought together by Antoinette Clark.

The merger between these two organizations is an important milestone in our community. We have been dedicated to helping our neighbors thrive for over 57 years, in partnership with more than 1,200 volunteers and 75 employees striving to uphold our core values of compassion, community, innovation and stewardship.
