HFCO's Nonprofit Accounting and Advisory team works exclusively with nonprofits, and our approach is to work in collaboration with our clients, rather than as our own little bean-counting silo. We focus on long-term, wholistic relationships, in which we help clients use accounting software efficiently, support the establishment and operation of proper internal controls, coordinate the budget process, advise on accounting and compliance matters as needed, close the books at year-end, and prepare the annual tax return as well as any financial statements desired throughout the year. We serve as an extension of the management team, helping you make decisions regarding compliance, accounting and financial management. We interact regularly with your board, staff leadership, and any staff who do finance work. We help you streamline your financial operations so you can focus on the mission.
