Administrative and Development Coordinator

Position Summary: 

The position will be split between administrative/finance activities and program reporting.  Work will need to be completed independently and requires familiarity and a high comfort level dealing with various data processing formats. Salesforce experience is helpful but not mandatory. Will involve phone and email communication with major donors and international staff. This position includes data entry, processing receivables, producing letters of acknowledgement, and providing donor customer service support.

Organization Overview: 

Zoe Empowers is a global network of non-profits equipping orphaned children and vulnerable youth to overcome the challenges of extreme poverty through life skills training, targeted resourcing, and family strengthening. Primary objective is for youth-led families to become sustainable self-sufficient and socially and economically integrated into their local community. Zoe Empowers is a Christian organization, incorporating faith into its empowerment model while also adhering to a policy of inclusivity and non-coercion.

Position Responsibilities:
 - Creating reports for donors based on survey data and other information provided by international programs. This will include manipulating spreadsheets and generating graphical representations of data.
- Newsletter formatting and distribution through an email marketing platform.
- Accurately recording and calculating program results using Excel spreadsheets.
- Electronically processing deposits and accurately recording donations in Salesforce.
- Maintaining constituent data and financial records in Salesforce and conducting queries as needed.
- Producing donation receipts/acknowledgement letters for donor gifts.
- Answering phone and distributing email inquiries to correct staff.
- General administrative tasks, including retrieving mail from post office.


Experience of two years or more in the following areas:
- Proficiency using Excel spreadsheets, formatting in Word, basic photo/video editing.
- Experience with customer relationship management software/services, especially Salesforce.  Experience with data processing using Excel spreadsheets and creating end documentation. Preferably, also experienced accessing and manipulating data from online data gathering platforms.  Understanding of and experience with non-profit organizations and donor relations.


Necessary attributes:
 - Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task. Must be able to work independently - Communication skills - clear, concise, and culturally sensitive both in verbal and written communication.                                                                             

Salary and Benefits

Full-time position, mostly remote with 3 partial days per week required for on-site office work
(approximately 10 hours total per week). Benefits include paid time off and retirement funding through a 403(b). Health insurance option available.
