This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging development professional who thrives at the intersection of relationships and systems, and who is ready to help build a sustainable foundation for statewide impact.
Reporting to the President & CEO, the Development Manager will play a central role in implementing PCANC’s fundraising plan: coordinating donor engagement, stewardship, data management, and communications that connect supporters to the organization’s mission. The successful candidate will bring creativity, organization, and collaboration to a small but mighty team committed to ensuring that every child and family in North Carolina can thrive.
This role offers the opportunity to grow within a respected and connected statewide organization, gaining mentorship and leadership experience while helping advance a mission that matters deeply to North Carolina’s future.

They will enjoy building and maintaining relationships with individuals, corporate partners, and community groups, ensuring every donor feels valued, informed, and inspired to give again.
Organized, Data-Savvy Professional
An eye for detail and a love for systems will be key. The Development Manager will oversee data integrity, reporting, and donor tracking in Salesforce, ensuring accurate, timely information that supports strategic decisions and strong donor relationships.
Strategic Communicator
Working closely with communications and marketing staff, the Development Manager will translate complex prevention and policy work into accessible, compelling donor messages. They will help shape campaigns, appeals, and impact stories that highlight PCANC’s statewide leadership in child and family well-being.
Collaborative Team Member
