The Office Manager oversees the daily operations, organization, and maintenance of the Special Olympics North Carolina (SONC) headquarters and warehouse. This role ensures efficient administrative processes, accurate registrant data management, and a well-supported office environment that includes staff, volunteers, and Special Olympics athletes.
Primary Responsibilities:
Office & Administrative Operations
• Oversee daily office operations to ensure a productive and organized work environment.
• Supervise and support administrative assistants, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Manage maintenance, cleaning, and repair needs for office equipment and facilities.
• Process daily financial deposits in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Maintain office inventory, order supplies, and ensure all workspaces remain organized and functional.
Data & Administrative Systems
• Oversee data gathering, tracking, and entry processes, utilizing administrative staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Develop and refine administrative workflows to improve efficiency across office and warehouse operations.
• Schedule and lead regular inventory and organization days for the office and warehouse.
Volunteer Coordination
• Manage the in-house volunteer program, including communication, scheduling, and task assignments.
• Ensure volunteers are effectively integrated into office operations and supported in their roles.
Warehouse & Equipment Support
• Monitor organization and maintenance of warehouse spaces.
• Support the Operations Director in coordinating the use, mobilization, and return of warehouse equipment.
Culture & Collaboration
• Foster an inclusive office environment that actively involves and supports Special Olympics athletes.
• Collaborate with Morrisville-based staff to identify operational needs and provide responsive support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
