Partners for Parks aims to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region by preserving, promoting, and enhancing the parks, greenways, open spaces, active play, and recreational opportunities within our community. Partners for Parks has been an integral advocate for promoting and enhancing parks, greenways, open spaces, active play, and recreation since 1996.
Charlotte Roller Derby empowers growth through the competitive sport of roller derby and engaging community activities that value inclusion and diversity.
The Greensboro Parks Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a broad base of programs, services, and facilities that enrich the lives of Greensboro and Guilford County residents, by strengthening financial and volunteer resources for Greensboro Parks & Recreation.
The Carolina Region, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting all disciplines of the sport of volleyball, developing opportunities, and enhancing participant experiences for all ages from grassroots to elite programs throughout the state of North Carolina.
The objectives of the Club are as follows:
1. To support and develop amateur athletes to participate in national and international sports competitions in curling.
2. To encourage, teach and promote North Carolina residents of all ages to learn and participate in the sport of curling and its competitions (bonspiels) nationally and internationally.
3. To own and/or lease facilities that can provide space for the sport of curling and to have access to the equipment necessary for curling competitions and training.
- The purpose of the North Carolina State Park Partners Foundation is to receive gifts, donations and bequests from people who love the parks, and to ensure that these funds are used to benefit the state parks system and its visitors.
We strive to promote fast pitch softball to young ladies in the Garner, NC area and surrounding communities.
Our goal is to develop young women’s strengths and confidence in all aspects of life through commitment, dedication and competitive softball. Our coaches are committed to creating a positive and safe environment for girls to participate in friendly competition, develop athletic skills and build self esteem.Our mission is to nurture self-confidence in young people by developing teamwork and athletic ability while treasuring individuality within a culture of encouragement and service to others.
