  • Queen City Starlings (QCS) is a non-profit volleyball program that offers all athletes the opportunity to play at the club level. Volleyball in the Charlotte, North Carolina area is very competitive. Our mission is to diversify the sport of volleyball by being more inclusive, welcoming all talented athletes an opportunity to compete and thrive. Our focus is to give underrepresented athletes the chance to compete.

  • Building and connecting the WNC community by improving mountain biking access and infrastructure while advancing trail stewardship.

  • Atlas Wrestling provides youth and young adults with opportunities to develop character, build lifelong relationships, and give back to their community- through the discipline of wrestling and the values that carry far beyond the mat.

  • The Foundation was established to raise funds to acquire amenities for the Park at Flat Rock and to support Park educational anad recreational activities. To provide resources for sustainability, enhancements, and educational programming for the Park at Flat Rock and in the community it serves.

  • DAN helps divers in need of medical emergency assistance and promotes dive safety through research, education, products and services.

    Divers Alert Network (DAN), a nonprofit organization, exists to provide expert medical information for the benefit of the diving public.

    DAN’s historic and primary function is to provide timely information and assistance for underwater diving injuries, to work to prevent injuries, and to promote dive safety.

  • Empowering movement in a supportive and inclusive community of women.

  • Partners for Parks aims to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Mecklenburg County and the surrounding region by preserving, promoting, and enhancing the parks, greenways, open spaces, active play, and recreational opportunities within our community. Partners for Parks has been an integral advocate for promoting and enhancing parks, greenways, open spaces, active play, and recreation since 1996.

  • Charlotte Roller Derby empowers growth through the competitive sport of roller derby and engaging community activities that value inclusion and diversity.

  • The Greensboro Parks Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a broad base of programs, services, and facilities that enrich the lives of Greensboro and Guilford County residents, by strengthening financial and volunteer resources for Greensboro Parks & Recreation.
