The Greensboro Parks Foundation is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to supporting a broad base of programs, services, and facilities that enrich the lives of Greensboro and Guilford County residents, by strengthening financial and volunteer resources for Greensboro Parks & Recreation.
The Carolina Region, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, is dedicated to promoting all disciplines of the sport of volleyball, developing opportunities, and enhancing participant experiences for all ages from grassroots to elite programs throughout the state of North Carolina.
The objectives of the Club are as follows:
1. To support and develop amateur athletes to participate in national and international sports competitions in curling.
2. To encourage, teach and promote North Carolina residents of all ages to learn and participate in the sport of curling and its competitions (bonspiels) nationally and internationally.
3. To own and/or lease facilities that can provide space for the sport of curling and to have access to the equipment necessary for curling competitions and training.
Preserving the past to promote the future, by maintaining a historical facility that will continue to serve as a Community Center and promote wellness for the families in our community, by providing recreation in a family atmosphere and programs through direct services and collaboration with other non-profit organizations.
