Founded in 2013, Oaks and Spokes initially started as an organization intent on engaging and supporting those that bike in Raleigh, and working to ascribe a new ethos toward a city that has to date, predominantly prescribed cars as the sole mobility option for those that seek economic opportunities and safe transportation.
