The Hope Closet is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves as a rapid-response emergency resource for individuals and families facing hardship across southern Wake County, North Carolina. The mission The Hope Closet is to collect and deliver essential household items—such as beds, furniture, towels, linens, cleaning products, and hygiene supplies—directly to families at no cost, prioritizing fast response times based on compassion and the urgency of the need. The goal of this work is to foster safe, healthy, habitable living conditions for individuals and families facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis, transition, poverty, and/or domestic violence and in need of essential household items free of charge.
