Oaks and Spokes is a 501(c)3 founded with the intention of supporting an equitable and sustainable active transportation network for the community of Raleigh, North Carolina. Founded in 2013, Oaks and Spokes initially started as an organization intent on engaging and supporting those that bike in Raleigh, and working to ascribe a new ethos toward a city that has to date, predominantly prescribed cars as the sole mobility option for those that seek economic opportunities and safe transportation.
