Annual membership with the Center provides your nonprofit staff and board members with training, resources, and other benefits valued at over $3,500! Annual member dues are based on your 501(c)(3) nonprofit's current Total Expenses as listed on your most recently filed IRS Form 990 (typically found on Line 18).
Your membership covers access to benefits for all staff and board members at your organization, beginning the day you pay dues and ending 12 months later. Newly formed nonprofits, including those with pending 501(c)(3) status, are eligible for membership and can join at the $110 rate for the first year if they have not yet submitted their first 990.
If the annual expenses reported on your 990 do not reflect your organizations actual budget, or your organization is experiencing a financial hardship, and you would like your dues to be adjusted, you can submit a dues adjustment request per our Dues Adjustment Policy. To do so, please email us, including your organization name, annual expenses and additional relevant details, at membership@ncnonprofits.org .
