Key Responsibilities
Strategic Program Leadership
- Provide executive oversight for programs including parenting classes, peer support groups, playgroups, and crisis services.
- Expand program offerings to reach more families while ensuring alignment with mission and strategic goals.
- Approve and monitor curriculum plans and program effectiveness through data and outcomes.
Financial & Operational Oversight
- Lead program budgeting and resource allocation in collaboration with the Executive Director.
- Monitor expenses, optimize efficiency, and maintain grant and contract compliance.
- Support sustainability through sound fiscal and operational management.
Staff Supervision & Leadership
- Supervise and mentor program and volunteer staff, encouraging a culture of accountability, creativity, and collaboration.
- Develop staff leadership capacity and clear performance goals.
- Foster teamwork and shared ownership of organizational success.
Community & Partner Engagement
- Build and maintain partnerships with schools, agencies, and community organizations.
- Represent The Family Place in collaborative initiatives and public forums.
- Support development and outreach efforts by sharing program outcomes and impact stories.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Human Services, Education, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5–7 years of leadership experience in nonprofit or program operations.
- Strong budgeting, grant management, and data reporting skills.
- Proven success in program development, staff supervision, and strategic planning.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, family-centered approaches.
Work Environment
- Primary office in Brevard with regular travel to Rosman site.
- Occasional evenings/weekends for special events or meetings.
- Focused on leadership, strategy, and organizational development.
