Licensed Clinician – Juvenile Assessment Team (JAT)

Haven House Services is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and licensed (or provisionally licensed) clinician to join our Juvenile Assessment Team (JAT). This full-time position provides clinical assessments, therapeutic interventions, and care coordination for youth involved in or at risk of involvement with the juvenile justice system. Working alongside families, court counselors, detention center staff, and community partners, the Licensed Clinician plays a critical role in connecting youth with the behavioral health services they need to succeed.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct clinical screenings, comprehensive assessments, and recommendations for youth and families.
• Provide brief therapeutic interventions and coordinate behavioral health services with youth, families, and community partners.
• Collaborate with juvenile court counselors, detention center staff, schools, behavioral health providers, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care.
• Provide consultation and support regarding youth with mental health and substance use needs involved in the juvenile justice system.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with agency, Medicaid, and regulatory standards.
• Assist with program data collection, reporting, and billing documentation.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical supervision, ongoing training, and community partnerships.
• Serve as a positive, strengths-based advocate for youth and families throughout the assessment and referral process.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master's degree in a clinical field from an accredited institution.
• Licensed or provisionally licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LCAS, LMFT).
• Minimum of two years of experience working with adolescents experiencing behavioral health and/or substance use challenges.
• Credentialed or eligible for credentialing with Medicaid plans serving Wake County.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
