About the Presenter:
Dr. Pamela Palmer has facilitated grant writing seminars and workshops for over 25 years. She routinely gives nonprofit leaders and professionals feedback on their grant applications and proposals. Early in her career, she designed a fundamentals of grant writing workshop, and through it, she has trained hundreds of participants in the basics of grant writing for nearly three decades. Dr. Palmer is President and CEO of Pamela Palmer & Associates LLC, a consulting firm dedicated to enhancing nonprofits' capacity to deliver services that help people overcome life challenges and benefit from opportunities. Her firm acknowledges the contribution nonprofits make in the marketplace and advocates for these organizations in North Carolina, the United States, and beyond. Dr. Palmer holds a doctoral degree and a master’s degree from North Carolina A&T State University, and an undergraduate degree from Winston-Salem State University. Her professional experience also includes serving as an interim executive director of nonprofits and consulting in program development and management, organizational development, staff development, program evaluation, and community development. In addition, Dr. Palmer serves on various nonprofit boards and committees, contributing to quality services and integrity for individuals impacted by human services at the local, state, regional, national, and international levels.
