In this 60-minute session, Atrómitos walks through what a culture of philanthropy actually is, how to honestly assess where your organization sits on the readiness spectrum, and the four pillars that hold the culture together: leadership modeling, board alignment, staff as storytellers, and reframing the ask. We close with staffing structures matched to organizational stage and budget, so you can plan from reality rather than from what a peer organization did.
The session includes live polls and time for your questions. It is intended for executive directors, board members, development staff, and the program and operations teams who are often the most credible voices an organization has. (If you can bring your board chair, please do so.)

Kate McNulty, MA, CHC is Principal Consultant of Federal Grants and Philanthropy at Atrómitos. She brings nearly two decades of experience helping nonprofit and healthcare organizations navigate federal funding, diversify revenue, and build fund development programs that outlast any single staff member. Her work spans grant writing, philanthropic strategy, and organizational assessment for safety-net health and human services providers. Kate has seen firsthand what separates organizations that sustain a philanthropy program from those that cycle through development directors, and this session is drawn directly from that client work.
