    The Director of Development works to build the future capacity of the Asheville Symphony through the planning and implementation of all fundraising activities. The role establishes and maintains relationships with individuals, corporations, foundations, and government agencies, and oversees appeals, proposals, and applications to these funders. 

     

  • The Development Director of Strategic Partnerships works with the Senior VP of
    Development to build the funding capacity of Special Olympics North Carolina by working with staff and volunteers to establish and/or renew relationships with existing and prospective donors.

    Location: Statesville, NC (Some travel required)
    Salary Range: $50,000 – $65,000 (commensurate with experience)

    Position Summary: 

  • This role is a combined position of Development Specialist, Executive Assistant/Office Manager.  Participates and/or assists in the development, implementation, and evaluation of both general giving and special fundraising activities for The United Methodist Retirement Homes, Inc. (UMRH) and The United Methodist Retirement Homes Foundation.
