Position Summary: The Development Director leads Compass Center’s private fundraising strategy, driving revenue growth through individual, corporate, and foundation giving. This role is responsible for donor cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and development operations, including fundraising events and campaigns, donor communications, and data management. The Director collaborates closely with the Co-Executive Directors, Grants Manager, staff, and board to foster a culture of philanthropy and ensure alignment with Compass Center’s mission.

The NC Aquarium Society seeks a dynamic fundraising generalist for the role of Director of Philanthropy. Reporting the Chief Philanthropy Officer, the Director of Philanthropy will join a 5-person Philanthropy Team responsible for fundraising, membership and communications to benefit the North Carolina Aquariums.
The Grant Specialist plays a key role on the Development Team, responsible for preparing grant applications, compiling and submitting reports for foundations and other funders, and supporting other grantmaking efforts. This role works closely with staff across departments to collaborate on applications and conduct grant research that advances NeighborHealth Center’s (NHC) vision, mission, goals, and programs. NHC has an established grants program with support from our local community of foundations, corporations, and faith partners.
The North Carolina Symphony is undertaking a major fundraising campaign to increase its endowment to $100M. The Symphony is seeking a skilled project manager who will play a central role in coordinating all aspects of this campaign. Reporting to the Vice President of Philanthropy and working with campaign counsel and volunteer leadership, the Campaign Project Manager ensures that all campaign activities are well-organized, documented, and executed efficiently and effectively.
