GRI operates under four key principles: 1) Humanity: we strive to alleviate human suffering, especially among the most vulnerable. 2) Impartiality: Aid is provided solely on need, ensuring basic necessities and medical treatment for those affected by conflicts or disasters. 3) Neutrality: Our actions must remain unbiased, avoiding political, racial, religious, or ideological conflicts.

The Community Land Trust of Western North Carolina (CLTWNC) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring permanent housing affordability and community stewardship of land across the region. Established in response to the need for affordable workforce housing in Western North Carolina, CLTWNC partners with residents, governments, and other nonprofit organizations to create inclusive, sustainable neighborhoods rooted in local control. Our mission is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves stable, affordable housing and a voice in the future of their community.

Our foundation has raised more than $300,000 for worthy causes in our community.

We aim to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live by partnering with families to build or improve their homes, using volunteer labor and donated materials. Our work emphasizes the importance of shelter, advocating for affordable housing, and demonstrating the love of Jesus Christ in their actions.
