To work with people to break the cycle of homelessness. We envision a day when the poor and vulnerable among us will no longer be ignored but treated with compassion and decency. We envision a day when any homeless person, regardless of psychiatric disabilities, substance abuse problems, medical issues, or financial poverty, can move directly into service-enriched permanent housing and become a productive member of society.

To create and promote permanent, affordable, sustainable, democratically controlled housing.

- The goals of the ATO, Inc. are to conduct community service activities and develop multi-family housing, as a general partner, in the Southeast Raleigh community.
Open Table Ministry seeks out and guides people experiencing homelessness and poverty toward long-term health and wholeness by building ongoing trusting relationships, meeting practical and personal needs, making connections to community resources, and bridging critical gaps in the social services system.
To be a neutral third party that builds a collaborative approach through partnering with community organizations to offer comprehensive resources to assist homeless families off the street and back into homes.
To offer a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families.
To provide assistance to families and their children who are victims of domestic violence with transitional housing and emergency shelter for families in a housing crisis while providing them with case management, financial literacy and links to community resources to help them regain their independence.
