Open Table Ministry seeks out and guides people experiencing homelessness and poverty toward long-term health and wholeness by building ongoing trusting relationships, meeting practical and personal needs, making connections to community resources, and bridging critical gaps in the social services system.
To be a neutral third party that builds a collaborative approach through partnering with community organizations to offer comprehensive resources to assist homeless families off the street and back into homes.
To offer a comforting home away from home and a community of support for seriously ill children and their families.
To provide assistance to families and their children who are victims of domestic violence with transitional housing and emergency shelter for families in a housing crisis while providing them with case management, financial literacy and links to community resources to help them regain their independence.
To strengthen our community with permanently affordable housing opportunities.
Serving low-income homeowners in Bladen, Brunswick, Columbus, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, and Pender Counties, many of whom are elderly, disabled, and/or veterans. WARM helps people age in place safely by preventing home accidents and illnesses - preserving their dignity and independence.
To strengthen neighborhoods with expanded homeownership opportunities; to provide quality rental housing for families and seniors with limited incomes and to enhance the economic well-being of residents of DHIC communities and low-wealth neighborhoods.
