  • Join us for an information session to learn more and ask questions about the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits' Association Health Plan.
  • The GMU-Nonprofit Works Data Explorer allows users to easily search and download the latest available data on nonprofit employment, establishments, and weekly and annual average wages on the national, state, county, and MSA levels by field and compare nonprofits to for-profits and government over the full period.

    Data are currently available at the state and county level for the years 1990-2022. National data are available beginning in 2007, and MSA data are available beginning in 2013.

  • In this session, you will learn when the various laws apply, the difference between job protection and salary replacement programs and how to strengthen and keep consistency.

  • Developed from ongoing nonprofit management research and the Center’s guide, Principles & Practices: Best Practices for North Carolina Nonprofits, this 6-session series facilitates learning, discussion, and fundamental management strategies around board governance, program design and evaluation, strategic planning, fundraising, financial management, and human resources.
