  • Cape Fear Regional Theatre is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. We believe in the power of storytelling and the visceral impact of live theatre. We strive for the highest standards of excellence in our artistic work, educational offerings, and outreach efforts. We provide the region a place to come together to laugh harder, think deeper, share our experiences and grow as a community.

  • To entertain, educate, and enrich through the practice and celebration of the theater arts.

  • To entertain and enlighten audiences in Raleigh, the Triangle region, and the state North Carolina, and beyond by performing world class professional ballet.

  • To further education in classical ballet and to provide a repetory company for aspiring young dancers.

  • To support the N.C. Transportation Museum to preserve and interpret the history of transportation in North Carolina and present this history in a manner that allows visitors to enjoy their experience as well as learn from it.

  • With focus on STEM, the arts, child health and emerging literacy, Kidzu Children's Museum inspires children and the adults in their lives to learn through creative, purposeful play.

  • To provide visual art education to Rowan County through exhibitions, classes for children and adults, and outreach programs in the community.

  • To promote the visual arts, history and heritage of the mountains.

  • To advance the understanding of craft by encouraging and supporting research, scholarship and professional development in the United States.
