SCECP is a non-profit organization which promotes the healthy development of children 0 – 5 years of age. For the future health and vitality of Surry County, SCECP takes action, on behalf of the people of Surry County, to support children 0 – 5 years of age and their families through partnerships across the counties.
To facilitate the development of a regional, community-based collaboration for coordination of family support services and resources needed for children to attain their full potential.
To promote positive early learning experiences and coordinate community services for families so that by age five, every child is healthy and prepared to succeed.
To ensure that every child in Onslow County has an opportunity for a brighter future.
To bring together families, educators, churches, businesses, government and other community resources to provide children and their families the services and support to assure that all children will be healthy and able to reach their fullest potential.
To make a compelling impact on Robeson County families by collaborating with early childhood agencies to support programs that measurably develop young children and their caregivers for success.
To provide health and education services for children from 0 to 5.
To promote a community effort to serve all children from birth through 5 by developing, funding, and monitoring programs which give them an opportunity to enter school healthy and ready to learn.
