    Organizational Overview

  • As the Financial Accounting & Reporting Analyst for the Blue Cross NC Foundation, you will support the grantmaking work of the BCBSNC Foundation by ensuring timely and accurate payments of grants and expenses, production of accurate, quality and timely GAAP and statutory financial reporting; ensuring adherence to financial accounting controls and polices; coordinating the monthly, quarterly and yearly close; and coordinating general ledger maintenance.

Prepares SAFRE budget for review and approval at annual board retreat. This position ensures financial integrity, compliance, and transparency across all funds and programs, supporting the organization’s mission and long-term sustainability.

  • The Accounting Specialist (internally called Assistant Director of Finance & Human Resources) is responsible for the day-to-day financial and human resources operations of the organization. This role ensures accurate accounting, efficient administrative processes, and HR compliance in alignment with the organization’s faith-based values. The position is hands-on and detail-oriented, supporting smooth internal operations and reliable financial stewardship.
